Night terrors
Andrew struggled with recovering from a spider dream, Pranic Healing helped:
My 6 year old, Andrew was sobbing in bed the night after a night terror involving spiders. “I can’t close my eyes, they are stuck in my head!”. Remembering the wipe-board technique taught in Pranic Psychotherapy we worked together to get the spiders out of his head. This exercise stopped the tears and allowed Andrew to lay calm in bed. Then completed 5-10 minutes of Pranic Psychotherapy and he was fast asleep with no fear of spider dreams since. -Rhonda S.
Insect Fears
Scorpion sting, no more fears of scorpions
Rhonda struggled for years before one day found compassion for scorpions:
My hand grabbed a sponge in a bucket full of water and wrung it out for cleaning. There was a scorpion on the sponge. My hand twitched involuntarily for 6 hours and my mouth and tongue were numb for days. Didn’t like scorpions to begin with, my son was stung when he was 6 months old and that was scary because scorpion stings can cause paralysis in infants (this is another story). Years have gone by with terror like reactions to seeing scorpions, even the ones encased in plastic sold at travel stores. Typically my reaction to live scorpions would be to scream and have my husband come to the rescue. I know things get better as time passes but this encounter was notable. There was a scorpion in a box, my husband was gone and there was zero panic reaction. Knowing this scorpion would have to be disposed of for the safety of my family there was even a compassion response, I wanted to get it over quickly and painlessly to avoid suffering. No fear was triggered, just did what needed to be done and moved on.
I haven’t received Pranic Psychotherapy for the trauma of scorpions specifically yet regularly complete the Meditation on Twin Hearts for Psychological Health and Wellbeing which I know had to have helped with both the fear and enhanced compassion. -Rhonda S.
Fear of needles
Anna can now receive shots like a boss
Anna came into the office with significant fear of needles. She was held down to receive a shot as a child and had to be in the same situation since. Having a needle in my office it was hard for her to look at it before the Pranic Psychotherapy session by the end of the session she was holding the needle without a reaction. She now is able to get shots without being held down, she still doesn’t like it but it is not a traumatic experience anymore.
